Welcome to Botany Bay Yacht Club!

Located on the western shore of Kogarah Bay, our volunteer-run Club is known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities for sailors, including the clubhouse, pontoons, tenders, hard stand, and on-site sailmaker and boatyard with crane, slipways and shipwright.

Established in 1964, Botany Bay Yacht Club is the only keelboat club on Botany Bay, with our first race sailed on 19th January 1964. In 1972, the Club purchased Endeavour Boat Shed-founded in the 1870s and steeped in more than a century of boat building, repairs, sales, hire and chandlery. A major redevelopment in 1985, saw the construction of our two-storey clubhouse, hardstand, wharf and pontoon, laying the foundations for the thriving, member-focused club we are today.
